The Alber Twion power assist helps wheelchair users by taking away the strain of propelling a wheelchair. It provides extra power and effortless motion into each wheel stroke. This model of power assist comes with the added benefit of smartphone connectivity meaning you can adjust the settings, record your journey, view battery life and even remotely control the wheelchair.

The Alber Twion wheels are lightweight and weigh approximately 6kg each. They can travel up to around 6kph and fits onto most manual wheelchairs. They use built in litium-ion batteries in the wheel hubs that can be charged with the charger provided.

With the Twion wheels, Alber has created an intelligent and flexible solution for every day mobility which will allow you to expand your possibilities and reach and maintain the highest levels of independence. It features state of the art electric motors equipped with modern software and electronics to provide enough extra power with each push on the rim to comfortably overcome longer stretches climb slopes. The driving sensor, positioned on the push rim, continuously and precisely determines the correct amount of assistance. Giving you the option to use manual or power assist to suit your lifestyle.

This is made possible by a small, lightweight bracket that is fixed on the wheelchair frame. Thanks to a convenient stub axle system, you can flexibly choose between manual wheels or Twion.
